Display technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace; after the invention of flat screens, touchscreens, and high definition, we are now facing a brand-new innovation.
These inventions that drive the world of technology forward and keep us hooked on the next big thing are always met with a brief commentary when they are first released: ” In any case, it’s impossible for us to use that later », or: ” *If it comes out tomorrow, I’m buying it!* ” There are so many conflicting views regarding new inventions. It is true that finding the next breakthrough capable of driving real technological progress is a difficult task.
To illustrate my point and demonstrate that there are still a few courageous researchers out there, here is a clever invention designed by NTT Docomo, a telecommunications giant in Japan, and Fujitsu, running on an Android smartphone prototype:
