The 10 most breathtaking dream destinations!
While chatting with friends, I realized that we all share common interests when it comes to the dream destinations we long to visit.
1- Australia
To me, Australia is a dream destination to visit with your family. For enthusiasts of surf they will also find fabulous spots. And the added bonus will be seeing the kangaroos that shaped our childhoods in person, in their natural habitat.
2- Norway
The land of eternal whiteness is a destination worthy of the finest fairy tales. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Disney’s famous animated film, “Frozen,” draws its inspiration from this beautiful country. It boasts magnificent islands such as Senja and Lofoten.
3- Machu Picchu
Located in the Andes Mountains near the planet’s lungs (the Amazon rainforest), it is known as the lost city long sought after by Spanish conquistadors. As the last remaining vestige of the Inca Empire, it still holds many mysteries for researchers.
4- The Grand Canyon
For a trip to the United States, one of the must-see destinations—one that has captivated generations of fans of American series and Hollywood films—is the Grand Canyon. Stretching across nearly 450 km in the heart of Arizona, it stands as a profound testament to the very evolution of our planet.
5- Whitehaven Beach
To me, Whitehaven should have been called Whiteparadise. It is one of the few beaches in the world to be entirely untouched by modern civilization. Accessible only by sea from Whitsunday Island, it is a beach boasting a uniquely brilliant white sand.
6- Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat served as both a temple and the administrative capital of the ancient Khmer civilization. Angkor was also home to one of the most advanced irrigation systems of its era. This masterpiece of King Suryavarman II appears to have stood the test of time, despite its location.
7- Perito Moreno
With the progressive melting of glaciers, it is possible that in the coming decades, future generations may no longer witness a spectacle such as the one offered by the Perito Moreno. In fact, it is the most beautiful glacier in the world, stretching nearly 5 km wide and reaching heights of almost 70 m.
8- Preikestolen
As an extreme sports enthusiast myself, I invite you to discover this magnificent Lysefjord cliff. This stunning precipice overlooks breathtakingly beautiful turquoise waters. Once a site of ancient sacrifices, the landscape is so magnificent it will truly take your breath away.
9- Namib Desert
The Namib Desert is one of the few places in the world where the desert meets the sea. Here, desert heat converges with the cold Atlantic climate. Along the southern coast of Namibia, this creates nearly 1,500 km of coastline where it is not uncommon to see sea lions basking on the beaches.
10- The Great Wall of China
It is one of the wonders of the world, a remnant of a millennia-old civilization. It is even the only man-made structure visible from space. Stretching nearly 13,000 miles, this wall stands as humanity’s greatest feat of construction.
